Kendall AMD antimicrobial foam dressings are designed to support wound management by simultaneously managing moisture and bacterial balance. These sterile, open-cell polyurethane foam dressings are impregnated with 0.5% Polyhexamethylene Biguanide (PHMB), a highly effective, low-toxicity antiseptic. They provide broad-spectrum protection against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (including MRSA and VRE), as well as fungi and yeast, while resisting bacterial colonization and reducing bacterial penetration within the dressing for up to seven days.
