    I recently submitted a review for the 3" polypropylene swivel caster (rated at 210 lbs.) I liked the unit and got the rigid plate caster to complement the swiveling unit. Like the swiveling caster wheel, the RIGID unit is non-marring and also rolls quite easily. The metal base and wheel support is very sturdy steel. The wheel moves in a straight line once attached to your project. It does NOT swivel! Having those features in mind you must know that the wheel and supporting metal assembly are rated at 210 pounds (per wheel). I think the unit might support more weight because it is very well mad

    I added a set of these to my workbench so that I could easily move it around in my garage. I wish I had done this years ago. Because of the style of my workbench, I had to place the casters underneath the two cabinets that support the ends, which required building a wooden support underneath for the casters to attach to. These casters do not lock, so I had planned on adding some drop feet to keep it from rolling while working on it, but because the bench is against the wall I've not had any issues. For my purpose, these casters worked great!
