    It would be hard to make this for the selling price. It works well enough to justify its purchase. my only complaint, and it is significant if you use this on a regular basis is the paltry pressure release lever mechanism of the lower anvil. it is not possible to replace anvils without spinning the lower handle sufficiently to drop it low enough to liberate the anvil. I suppose this is a cost saving trade-off and it should not deter someone from buying this if one is on a budget. I thank Harbor Freight for keeping this in their catalog. I just wish they hadn't stopped selling some of their oth

    As a fabricator, having an English wheel is a must for creating many shapes, panels, and restoring cars. I use mine to teach my students how to shape metal. This English wheel is very front heavy, so it must be bolted to the deck, or weighted down near the rear. It only comes with 1 anvil, so you have to go online to get a complete set of roller anvils. When shaping steel panel that are 20awg or thicker, you will encounter a lot of flex in the upper arm of the tool, and requires welding a reinforcement bar up the back, and over the top to create the rigidity needed to make the tool effective f
