    need stronger magnets.

    Nice gauge. Use it for height measurements on my table saw and router table. Only drawback is the magnet is not strong enough. Magnet is too weak. Would like to see it to have neodymium (earth) magnets install on them, they are much stronger than regular magnets. My gauge dropped a few times off the saw and I places it elsewhere so it can be safe and I have to look for it each time I need it. Overall, it's a nice tool.

    this is so much easier to use than the old Y-shaped height gauge i have been using for years. especially on the table saw, where only one leg of the old gauge could be on the cast iron table at one time - the other was always on the insert. the magnetic base makes it a lot easier to have hands free to adjust blade height.
