Balance Pad - helpful for TKR recovery

Posted by Michael R. in prosourcefit on Jun 4th 2019

Obviously, the balance pad helps with balance. After TKR (Total Knee Replacement) I have found other uses than 1 legged balances. When doing quad stretches with my foot up at. Table height it gives a bit of height and cushioning to the foot that is on the table. One exercise has me descending a 15 inch step, for some reason it was hard on the foot coming down, but the pad gave me a soft landing. For ankle stretches, where I needed to be on my knees, it providing the cushioning that enabled me to kneel comfortably. The more I have the balance pad around the more uses I am finding for it
