It's well made and really is heavy duty, a good purchase and it should last for years to come... The things I wrote about are personal tweaks to have the chair work best for me. All chairs will have the exact same issues for me, so they are not complaints. I hope that maybe the designers will take what I wrote into consideration.

I have a number of health issues that are increasingly degrading my ability to stand up or walk around for any but very short distances. When it became apparent that I'd reached the point that I needed a wheelchair, at least some of the time, I looked around online and this chair seemed to best match my needs. I ordered the leg supports that allow me to sit with one foot or both feet raised. There was a bit of a kerfuffle when it seemed the delivery company lost my chair, but one call to the 1800wheelchair customer service line and a new chair was received almost immediately. The leg supports are easy to attach, adjust, swing out of the way, and remove. I am very pleased with the chair's construction, comfort, and the way it folds and unfolds easily for storage or transportation. A week or two after it arrived, I suffered yet another issue, this one hopefully temporary. Essentially, though, I couldn't get out of bed without help and needed the chair just to get to the bathroom. I also needed it to get to various doctor's appointments and hospital tests. The chair has been everything I needed. Money extremely well spent.

This Excel wheelchair was purchased for my wife, it's 22 inches wide and just perfect for her and me pushing her. It is extremely sturdy and well made, easy to push and get around in. There's a built-in carrying bag behind the back of it. Its easy to lift and place in the rear of our SUV. She says it's very comfortable, the only thing the screws that attach the seat hurt her hear, which shouldn't be a problem once we receive the 3 inch gel cushion made for this chair. We ordered the cup holder which is extremely nice. We both are extremely satisfied with this wheelchair and the cost plus free shipping and tax free was an extra bargain. I really like this chair, 24" seat is perfect. One thing that could improve this chair: The arm rests, I need the short part in back and the tall part in front. I can turn them around, which I do... and the back locks, but the front part won't lock in place (still usable), because its designed to go the other way. Fat people like myself, who need a heavy duty wheelchair, also have short fat arms. I also put a rope where the legs go, to rest my feet on because the leg rests prevent me from being able to get up close to the counter. I will use the leg rests if I have to go outside with it. It works fine for the desk and table, and manuvers great and with ease.
