    This was an exact replacement for our very old Carefree of Colorado Simplicity awning. It was very easy to install. The instruction sheet was very easy to follow. Really happy with the fit and finish - so much so that we decided to go ahead and buy the rear one too just in case.

    I bought this for my Jayco 23b awning. This ratchet end (Open/Close lever) was reduced price on Home Essentials Direct Warehouse. It was not listed for our trailer/awning size, but it works fine. One note for the 23b awning. There is only one spring. It is on the non-ratchet end. Being that I had the ratchet end it was perfect. Removed the no spring OEM ratchet, installed the spring end, wound up 12 turns, and good to go. I left the broken opposite end as is. Other Carefree awnings that are similar size to the 23b may only have one spring also. I found a YouTube video with a title including aw
