Wish I had known about this item long before now. Works fantastically for staining decks, porches, etc.. Hardly no dripping, goes on smooth and uniform, saves tons of time compared to any other methods such as spraying, regular paint pad, rolling, brushing, and more. Did a 12 X 45 deck with posts and trim and the pad is still in fairly good shape. Surprisingly inexpensive for real sheep skin. Highly recommend to folks that hate to stain. Of course you will need a screw in handle to screw into the pad and block such as a push broom handle for the deck and a similar, and a small handle for trim

This is a cheap, disposable applicator for refinishing floors. The applicator block itself is two pieces of pine, a couple of screws and a pair of wing nuts. It's dead simple to use. Yes, it's a bit tricky to put the block onto your applicator pole, but it will pretty much fit any paint pole or old broom handle. Just take care that you don't cross thread it onto the pole. The lambswool pad is removable, and yes, you can clean it and reuse it, but not worth it even if you're bored and your time is free. Better option, wrap the applicator in a plastic bag overnight. You'll spend more on solvent
