bought for my 95 yr old dad who has Alzheimer's and recently became incontinent during the night. Since he still uses the toilet during the day, I needed incontinent underwear with a working fly front. Disposables have no opening, so those are out. Other washable incontinent underwear either do not have a fly or else it's placed way over to the side which is just not doable for someone with his stage Alzheimer's who's always worn fly-front boxers. He still has difficulty with the opening being horizontal instead of vertical, but is usually able to manage. Quality of garment is good, washability of garment is good, overall absorbancy is pretty good; having a stiff, uncomfortable label sewn in the back inside of garment is just plain stupid and irritating, and although I cut it off, there is still a little bit of tag left to irritate his elderly skin.

This brief has a GREAT design with a pouch access front that does NOT gap or open at will, NOT allowing things to hang out when moving, sitting or laying down. The protection areas extend to the lower rear covering enough of the butt area opening adding an added area of smaller protection. While it's absorbent levels are low, it gives you the BASIC protection you need while giving you the LOOK, FEEL & APPEAL of average NON-Protective underwear.
