    The Better Sigvaris

    I read reviews for all of the Sigvaris stockings and learned that Sigvaris 821N Microfiber for Men 15-20 mm Hg also has two-way stretch and is easy to put on. I find them to be very comfortable all day. They fit my wide, thick feet without causing pain in bones over the arch, a problem I had with other brands. They have ample room in the toe area and are comfortable there. I am completely satisfied with these and will order more.

    Not much compression unless you are kind of fat and measured wrong

    Note: they had a strong chemical odor when new, but this came out by hand washing with a little Dawn detergent and rinsing well. I rolled them in a towel to get out excess water to speed drying.

    Just the right compression and very comfortable

    I previously purchased Sigvaris 232N Essential Cotton, 20-30 mmHg, open-toe thigh highs. These are have two-way stretch which makes them fairly easy to put on and allows them to fit very nicely. But they have more compression than I need and over the day they would start feeling too tight. Sigvaris 232 is not available in 15-20 mm Hg, so I searched for other stockings with two-way stretch.

    Comfortable legs

    This is my first time with compression stockings. While I was waiting for the Microfiber stockings to ship, I started with a pair of Sigvaris Dynaven thigh highs purchased from a local retailer. It was the only Sigvaris thigh high they carried. After just three washings they lost their ability to stay up. Very disappointing. I must say that the Microfiber Men's are VERY comfortable and stay up all day long! They are more than worth the few extra dollars they cost. The Microfiber Men's should be your first choice!
